Jena Malone is the cutest actress ever and it is first thing that is good about the movie. That aside the cinematography is amazing, the soundtrack is very moving and the screenplay is just about good. The acting isn’t all that great and the reason I believe are not the actors but the screenplay. The conflicts that story is explores isn’t dealt in depth. It would have been better movie only if fewer conflicts of his life were explored but in more detail. I believe what Sean Penn was trying to do is get a broader audience to relate with the pains that Christopher McCandless went through. Nobel cause but it doesn’t work.
The movie is good. The music is awesome. I have no idea how it got into the blockbuster queue but I am glad it did.

Nice movie with a really pretty women in it. Although there is nothing extraordinary about the movie it was well made and acting is top notch.

They sound so much better in a concert. The concert was cool. I liked The Kooks and Mute Math performances the most.
What a horrible movie. But if you really want to know why Robert De Niro is one of greatest actors alive you got to watch this movie. He puts every other actor in the movie look worse an amateurs. As for the movie the screenplay is unimaginative, dialogues are bum, uncalled dramatics it has everything you need to make a bad movie.

Although my favorite heroin addiction movie is still Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting is pretty good too. It has a lot more humor and catchy dialogues.

You got to see this movie. I wasn’t expecting to laugh through the movie but I was wrong. Although you see a lot sad stuff Moore manages to keep you entertained. You won’t be seeing anything new unless you are one of those Americans who truly you have the best standard of living.

Boring. I am big fan of Stanley Kubrick I love his movies but this one surely sucked. It was slow and unimaginative. The movie doesn’t pick up until it is half way through. The second half of the movie is pretty decent. The acting is pretty good but nothing extraordinary.

Grindhouse is a double feature with Planet Terror directed by Robert Rodriguez and Death Proof by Quentin Tarantino. It is also an American term for exploitation films. I guess B-movies is the well known term other parts of the world.
Planet Terror is pretty good film. Rodriguez sticks to the regular elements of an exploitation movie.
Death Proof sucks. With all his self proclaimed love for exploitation movies, Tarantino can’t make one for nuts. I don’t want to hear super long dialogues with no action in a exploitation movie.

Simple but a really powerful movie. The protagonist is a taxidermist with eidetic memory and epilepsy thinks he can commit the perfect crime. He get his opportunity on his first hunting trip when he accidently kills a criminal who has plans of stealing a casino. The movie is definitely better than Fabián’s first movie Nine Queens which was also a pretty good movie. Unfortunately this would be his last movie which is sad.
Fabián’s uses neo-noir style very effectively. The movie may seem to move at a slow place but you soon realize that it is deliberate and pretty effective in keeping you anxious. There are lot details that aren’t so apparent but fit whole scheme of things. At times these details do get annoying, which was the only problem I noticed with movie.
The plot is simple. The taxidermist always dreamed of committing the perfect crime. When opportunity comes by he is faced with a lot of moral ambiguity and as it does happen in real life he tries to find moral justification for his acts. That’s where the chick comes into the picture. So now that we have a chick, an opportunity to do what he always wanted to do and his love to solve puzzles encircling him. Perfect, all that was need was good actors and they are there. The cinematography is excellent too.
